Baby Shower Gifts in Nanyuki: Practical Ideas by Budget
A useful baby gift starts with what the family needs. Smalt Baby Shop offers individual essentials and receiving sets, so you can choose one item or combine a few within your budget. Ask the parent about sizes and what they already own before placing the order.
What can you buy for KSh500 or less?
| Gift idea | Listed price |
|---|---|
| Baby socks, pack of 3 | KSh150 |
| Wash cloths | KSh300 |
| Baby towel | KSh500 |
| Five piece receiving set | KSh500 |
Confirm pack contents and sizes. A modest gift that fills a gap can be more helpful than a larger set of items the family already has.
What are the options up to KSh1,500?
| Gift idea | Listed price |
|---|---|
| Baby flannels, pack of 4 | KSh900 |
| Eleven piece receiving set | KSh1,100 |
| Baby blanket | KSh1,200 |
| Baby shawl | KSh1,300 |
| Eight piece cotton receiving set | KSh1,300 |
These are individual catalogue prices, not gift package offers. Ask for photographs of the exact item and available colours. For clothes, confirm the size rather than assuming newborn sizing fits every recipient.
Can you combine items into a gift?
Yes, you can ask the shop for a quote for several individual products. A towel at KSh500, wash cloths at KSh300 and a three pack of socks at KSh150 total KSh950 before delivery. A four pack of flannels at KSh900 and a towel at KSh500 total KSh1,400 before delivery.
These calculations are shopping examples. They do not include gift wrapping, a gift box or a discount. Ask the shop if you need presentation or direct delivery to the recipient.
How do you choose something for a mother?
Consider asking what would be useful rather than surprising her with a personal care item. A nursing pillow is listed at KSh1,300, but preferences and intended use matter. For a pump or other specialised item, let the recipient choose the exact model and fit.
